Brighton Uni Event

Well, its true. People at universities are clearly highly gifted and talented individuals with immaculate (pie) taste!

Natalie Davies is the head of catering at Brighton Uni's Moulescombe site. Natalie's husband picked up some of our pies from the Pantiles Farmers' Market in Tunbridge Wells which we have been going to became a convert! Natalie then put on a special Pie and Mash event which we had the honour of providing the pies for!

The event was a success and hopefully plenty more people have had a chance to try our wares. Natalie was even kind enough to forward on a whole bunch of pretty nice emails too! Here are a few:

"The chicken, leek and bacon pie was scrummy, good pastry and a balanced meal with a helping of mixed veg. My partner had the steak pie but with mash as well (double carbs! but he can't help himself!) and also thoroughly enjoyed it. "

Just to say we made a special trip from Mithras to Cockcroft for the pies and also took along IBM who were visiting us for the day. The pies were fabulous! And there were no lumps in the mash potato either.
Can we have more pie and mash days please?

Great idea to have event days like this and the pie (Chicken/Leek/Bacon) was excellent. I know the amount work involved in doing event days like this as my wife used to be an industrial catering manager, so well done.
